So I have acquired a 1983 Chevy G10 Van from my brother who has been driving it around for about 2 years and is just over it. He got the van from my girlfriends Father who takes great care of his cars. He drove the car for years when he was doing construction jobs on the side. The Van drives great and has been well maintained through out the years. Already having my daily driver I have been using the Van to get down for some surf. The van is perfect for a surf van it fits all my boards so i don't have to go off reports when selecting between my 3 boards 6' fish, 6'6" short board, or my 9'6" long board.
Need to upgrade the Van
So, as i explained above the Van runs great and after talking it over with my girlfriend I decided it might be cool to come up with a restoration plan for the Van. I have been taking pictures and scouring the net for other projects like this one to come up with some ideas for color interior and other things i might need to have a cool van for surf travel.

I though he had some cool ideas he even put a little cast iron stove in his. I really don't need to go that far for heat cause i usually stay in southern california and baja mexico.
If anyone has any suggestions or ideas that would be cool post them and maybe i will add them to the project
